The automatic high beam lights have stopped working. I cleaned the sensor, but the indicator light still doesn't come on even at higher speeds. Has anyone encountered this issue on the MG EHS 2025?
Has your car been to the dealership for a service or any other work?
I only mention this because my previous car went in for a service and the dealership "updated" my software with the wrong version; the result being exactly the fault you are reporting.
Because it was summer, I didn't even notice for a while (i.e. no lights required most of the time)
They reprogrammed it with the correct version while I waited, and all was well.
{just a thought that might help}
I haven't been to the service yet, I'll go for the first inspection after the first year in February. It was working without problems and in recent weeks it's not anymore.
Have you spotted that there is a tab in the infotainment system to switch the auto main beam on and off?
I switched mine off and at one point it came back on by itself.
I know from my own experience it's difficult to demonstrate this issue as the service centres are only open during daytime; but I think it’s a job for the experts.
Although this forum has some amateur experts who may have another answer. Keep your eye open for updates.
