I had the rear NS window open for no apparent Reason. Only once upto now. Others have had the same. See this thread.

If this is a bug, it might be related to software version, though I think probably not to do with the entertainment unit, so hard for us to check. Has anyone had this who got their car recently, say in 2023? Yeah mine is 6 weeks old Trophy.

Especially those of us with dogs. Their breath isn't the most fragrant ?

Another thing to consider is leaving the wipers on auto when you leave the car, and it rains or snows before you get back in.
The wipers will wait until you're almost ready to close the door, and then sweep a load of snow or rainwater onto your lap.

How does the car know you've done it accidentally?

And not easy to code out that would take some quite complex decision logic to determine if you'd accidentally opened a window or not.

It could be coded as an option to auto-close all windows when locking.
