Bluetooth Music won't work

Hello all since I have mg4 I was never able to use BT Music I have it connected with bluettoh no problem phone works etc but on BT music won't play at all have spotify says its connected to MG but I select play on phone no sound and nothing being displayed on the BT music screen tried to remove the phone and added it again didn't work.
Only way I can ear music is by Android Auto.
Anyone can help me please.
