BM2 battery monitor

Does anyone have any recommendations for a one of these? I've never used one but they seem to be a worthwhile thing for EVs and are conveniently priced for asking for one as a Christmas present.
There are loads on Amazon and the same on Ebay for a bit cheaper so spoilt for choice, hence asking for tried and trusted model recommendations by the tried and trusted good folk on here.

Thanks, I know what they are etc. but was hoping someone on here might have installed one and have a recommendation for a particular version that has proved useful, reliable and has a decent app to go with it.
Mr EV does some wonderful road trip and holiday videos, especially the family's annual trips to Italy and back in various EVs.

I bought one years ago (after seeing his first vid on battery problems). It wasn't really much use for me, the car itself does a decent enough job. If you have a specific issue as he had then, it's worth buying, otherwise, there are better things to spend the cash on.
