Brake lights

Hi all, Something I’ve been meaning to ask, when you are using the regenerative braking (tacking your foot of pedal ) do the brake lights come on, otherwise it could be a problem if you have Mr BMW close behind. Cheers Tony

When regenitive breaking reach the legal threshold the brake lights come on

High re-gen slows the car quite dramatically, more so that I'm used to with ICE cars and therefore more than drivers behind me might expect. So, I wonder, does it apply the brake light to warn the driver behind it's dropped the anchor? Si
