I was just wondering if anyone has any experience getting their MG4 charge port repaired via warranty at a MG dealership?

I’ve had mine since June and I’m loving it so far and have had very few issues so far, however, earlier this evening I noticed that one of the plastic caps inside the charging port has broken off… god knows how!!

The photo attached shows the bit of plastic in my hand and the left DC port with it missing.
I assume the dealership would be able to fix this relatively easily?

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Thanks all.

Not experienced myself but I wouldn't worry about it too much.
It won't stop you charging at all.
(which you already knew!) 👍

Let us know how long it takes to get it sorted.
MG will probably have to replace the whole unit?

You’re right about the charging, initially I was confused as it kept refusing to charge but I had a look and found the cap down in the bottom of the plug, stopping the charger from going in all the way. After a bit of fishing with a stick I managed to get it out and have been able to charge okay.

Due to speak to the garage on Saturday so will hopefully have an update soon.
