CAN bus sniffing

Hi,

I'm really interested in the OVMS project, and would love to see it support the MG5.

I was wondering what CAN bus sniffing / analysis work has been done already, and what anyone would recommend to give it a go myself. There seems to be fairly cheap arduino / raspberry pi interfaces out there but it's something I've never tried before.
