Agreed, if anywhere has enough electricity capacity on site to install a charging infrastructure you would think it was an airport, the delays must be the bean counters trying to see how much profit can be screwed out of it.Manchester Airport could really do with one of these.
The only onsite charging is 6x 7kW AC chargers in one of the hotel car parks that cost £20 per 8 hour session.
Similar to Heathrow, but more expensive, which is why I park at Hounslow and get the tube.Manchester Airport could really do with one of these.

No they don't, they pay more at business rates.I am fairly sure they don't buy electricity at the rate I do.
And they're subject to 20% VAT (which they pass on) whereas it's 5% VAT for domestic users. No they don't, they pay more at business rates.
I used the BP Pulse rapid chargers about a mile from the airport last timeManchester Airport could really do with one of these.

The garage on the way to the tunnel under the runway? I don't trust BP's reliability.I used the BP Pulse rapid chargers about a mile from the airport last time
Fewer .........Less overpriced ultra rapids (that few EVs can take advantage of) and more practical 50-100kW.

I think it's called Airport SF Connect ? . I've not had any trouble with BP rapids ,though that one was a tad slowThe garage on the way to the tunnel under the runway? I don't trust BP's reliability.
However, there's now a 6x 150kW MFG garage at the Asda just North of the airport.
EDIT - WTF? The site won't let me post a Google Maps link!

Using the latter in a text link you get this link here which works fine whereas the original version doesn't. So why not just use the long version?![]()
