Always and inside the door and boot openings, and around the door edges as Clive mentioned, followed by a blow dry with the Vertool, you'd be amazed how much water gathers in those areas you never see particularly under the bonnet.Anyone else clean under the bonnet when they give their cars a wash?
Or is it just me?![]()
Bit of a change with the S6 over the empower as it's totally enclosed so just needs a bit of a wipe down, the power got a wash now and then to remove the dust and grime but with 2 winters and 16000 miles it looked pretty fresh when it left me.
When it comes to ICE, yes I do under the bonnet, they tend to gather dirt much more than EV but with them I use steam rather than blasting away with the power washer, the M3 is 14 years old, has 38K on the clock and with it's MOT history has been getting an average of 3000 miles a year use, pretty sure sunny days with the occasional shower but definitely doesn't show it IMPO.
