Car won't unlock or start

Hi all - car won't unlock or start. Tried both keys and starting it with the key in the central pot (manual suggests to try in case of RF interference). Wondering if a fuse is blown but can't figure out which fuse would be responsible for both keyless unlocking and starting the car. Any ideas on what I need to check?

I have a 2020 MG ZS EV.

No, completely dead. Nothing happens at all.

Are the connecters secure on the 12 volt battery ??? Otherwise it sounds like you have a flat battery

Looks okay to me. Wiggled the cables a little and nothing appears loose.

Link is down for maintenance unfortunately. I'll check again later. Don't have a 12V charger so I think if that's the fix, I might as well get AA out.

It's back up, but the thread doesn't explain where the manual release of the charge flap is. Any idea?

I found that. Looks like that is the manual release for the cable but I can't get passed the flap.

If you had the car serviced at a MG dealership then it renews the AA cover?

It runs indefinitely for as long as you have your vehicle serviced by MG, call the AA and say it’s an MG they should have your registration details.

That's good news since I'm still trying to figure out how to get the cover open and I've now unscrewed several bits!

Just call the AA it may need to be recovered to MG, don’t risk your warranty..

I bet this soon became apparent when he connected up the jumper pack and the head lights came straight on.
Suddenly a massive ................. Dooh ! ? moment !
