Can anyone advise how i change dealer for servicing requirements.
The dealer i purchased my ZSEV from has closed is there anything i need to do to ensure my servicing and warranty can be kept current?

You can service at any dealer as they all log the details on a central MG database.

I want to change my dealer because I am fed up with being patronised and lied to by Macklin Motors Edinburgh West (now Vertu). However the guy at Central Garage Galashiels was very busy when I called in to ask him about it and not taking on new customers right then. I thought I had maybe blown my chances by coming over as a troublesome customer, but when I contacted him again later he was perfectly OK about it.

The only problem was that by then the door button on the passenger side of my car had failed, and this stymied things. Central Garage don't have a bodyshop and the replacement handles need painted, so he has to refer his customers to another dealer when that fault happens. We agreed on balance it would be better for me to go back to Macklin this time, so the car is booked in for the end of next week.

Maybe THIS TIME Macklin will do everything right so I can shake their dust off my shoes.

The other issue is that the car still isn't pre-heating when plugged in and not charging, although that was supposed to be fixed at the first service. The Galashiels guy didn't seem to know how to tackle that so again I suppose, best back to the dealer that was supposed to have fixed it first time.

But in theory, just go to another dealer and tell them you would like to favour them with your custom. It would be the same if you'd moved house to a different area.
