Charger installed but no motor?

Hi All,
Just had my Ohme Home Pro installed but have no car until July, is there any point in my setting up the charger with the Ohme app yet or shall I wait till I get the car before scanning the QR code that’s displayed on the screen?

I would set it up and get an EV owner (maybe on this forum) to prove it works properly. If you have to wait months for your car and then find its not working you will be very annoyed. Most set ups work as the installer checks voltages etc. but the best way is to charge a car and or charge a car from a scheduled charge. You could also then also register as a charging point locally?
