I'm sure I'll experience some charging anxiety on my first road trip this weekend to Wales, 120miles one way, there's no way the Xpower will make it back and not yet used a public charger, so it could be fun !!
Planning ahead is the answer, check the 'chat' feature on the apps for UTD info on charge locations before you decide. I've noticed sometimes Zap-Map is behind the curve on what's faulty or unavailable.
Electroverse card is very useful, but doesn't work on some of the older Charge Place Scotland chargers up here...not that's relevant to your road trip in Wales🤭🙂
Hope your enjoying yourself🙂

Well took it very steady on the way there and used 51% battery, so I was quite please, charged at an Evolt charger, contactless and once I figured it out (with the help from another MG4 owner) it was quite simple, only slow charging but I was in no rush.

One tip I got from the other owner and was extremely useful was that if I unlocked the car (which I did later in the day) to put something in or take something out) the charging would stop but I could restart it through the app. Glad he told me because I wouldn't have picked up on that.
