Charging door open warning mg4

Hi.
Has anyone had issues with warning light on dash saying charger door open.
When checking it is closed.
Tried closing hard and applying silicone spray to mechanism.
Will I have to take to mg garage and will this be covered with warranty.
MG4 74 plate trophy.

Try unplugging the 12v Battery - That's what all the dealers do first to fix this kind of issue

I'm surprised they didn't try that to fix the vibes on the x Power, as you say it seems to be there go to for everything

Well maybe they did and were surprised that it didn't fix it

I'm currently having trouble with the charging port stem, as it's made of plastic and shows signs of wear.
After some research on AliExpress, I found a model that appears to be the same.
I tested it with the device disassembled and noticed it has a magnet that should activate a magnetic switch.
I'll confirm its compatibility once I receive it.
