Charging door

Had a great 15mins yesterday trying to defrost the charging door lock to get the door shut ? good job it was a non-working day! 10 mins on Amazon and magnetic cover order?

Behaved itself once ambient temps went up.

Have another 10 minutes on Amazon and get some silicone spray to spray the lock and rubber seals to stop it happening again ?

No. I believe it's the dull green with black camouflage.

We'll soon find out if MG's paint has good adhesion when the tape gets ripped off ?

The "Racing Green" paint was fine...............


But the door came off in my hand with the tape still attached ????

Tape would be a better solution than door locks - would save a lot of weight - I'll have a word with MG. ?

I had the same problem at -4 degrees C. WD40 failed, so I used a very concentrated solution of winter screen washer fluid. Did the trick in a minute
