Yesterday afternoon e were happily charging at a CCS charger in a services on the A10 in France when the app reported charging stopped, there was about 55% charge, tried to restart the charge and the startup sequence went fine until "Charging Started" was immediately followed by " charging Stopped"
We travelled to the next services to try again with the same result at 5 different chargers including a Type 2.
Called Europlus and they got the car recovered to a depot, there was no attempt at roadside diagnosis, and they decided that at 4pm On a Thursday afternoon that there was no point in trying to book it into a MG garage in Orleans as there was little chance of a fix in time to get to our ferry sailing from Caen on Monday with the weekend in between.
So the car will be repatriated to our local MG dealer and we have hire car for the rest of our holiday and another booked at Portsmouth for us to drive home.
Anyone else seen this failure to charge or know what the issue might be?
