Agreed. I thought other MG4 owners may be unaware that nice 18” alloys lived behind the trims. So I thought I would show em how easy it is thats all. Transforms their car & costs peanuts ?
Anthracite is mint ? had another cars alloys done in that colour. I thought Gloss black for this ?. As for nut covers I ordered 4 different sizes once for a skoda ev & none fit ?
Good spot, didn't pick up on that. I've ordered some centre caps myself now as i think I prefer the looks without the covers
You can buy original wheel trims on Ali express. My Wife prefers trims on so they went back on her car until we can afford new alloys that she likes.
A few have suggested that the wheel trims may be useful to affect airflow over the brakes et al, but they are more important for lessening the air drag and increasing one's range. That's useful for our "long distance" car (the "77").
Hi KMC, I bought an MG4 Trophy ER in September, my second MG4 the first was an LR Trophy. I took the trims off that one and replaced them when I traded it in. I much preferred the look without the trims, so I wanted to do the same with the ER. The trims are the same as the ones on your wife's car, but they won't budge
. I went to see my dealer and they advised that to get them off, you need to use a pair of long nosed pliers from underneath and from the back of the wheels to release the very strong metal clips that secure them. If you force them off the trims can be damaged and the alloys scratched 
. I've decided to leave them on and when it goes in for its first service, I'll have them removed then. I just have to be patient
