Kithmo raises a good point, certainly when I occasionally used public chargers it takes quite a few seconds for anything to happen. Caught me out a number of times when I was a newbie.

Thanks both. I'll try and ensure I'm being patient! With the pod point I used yesterday it waited 30 seconds or so then the charger timed out with an error, but not sure I've always waited that long!
