I just use the Authold feature and very rarely put the car in park mode or neutral. It has worked a treat so far and I find the whoe process really simple and very handy. Great for traffic lights etc, just leave the car in Drive and pull away with no fuss at all.

Quite agree, autohold doesn't apply the PB, as after you are sat there for a few mins and the autohold swaps to PB you feel the car ride up on the rear wheels a bit if you are on a uphill bit of road. And of course the green "A" swaps to a red "P" in the display.
