I have had no issues since R34 installed not withstanding the speaker sounds improvement is negligible, and MG Pilot Custom is working fine
every time I set it (Don’t forget to confirm ‘ok’ when turning on the system). One additional thing that I have noticed since the update to R34
the regen selection on the left paddle only allows 1,2, or 3 the A and S
option is skipped and not highlighted. It was definitely there in R31 but
as I only use 3 99% of the time it doesn’t affect me. But I did notice
a much smoother operation of the adaptive cruise control since A or S
is gone as a choice. Before it could be a little jerky as it adapted to speed based on car in front but a lot less now. This improvement is a bonus and was not highlighted by the dealer. I have covered 11,000km now and overall I am very pleased with the car.

…my adaptive cruise control is broken since I changed from summer to winter tires: it is always slightly accelerating and de-accelerating and goes to +3km compared to the speed entered. An update to R34 did not fix this. MG is now looking into it.

By reading the messages I assume that the last EU version is R34 right? I'll check that during the handover.

Comes with R32, I asked the dealer and they agreed to update it if they can but I would need to leave the car there for a day and I'm not ready to do that just yet.

They also complained about the software updates and that the MG brand does not pay much attention to them, they are an official dealer in Madrid.

In the German forum, someone got the R37 update at the service. Currently, no idea about what is improved.

According to some comments it's fixed for some but not for others. Could it be that are part of another module that in some cases was updated?

I'm on R32 so no idea.

Would be great to know the fixes, but the best thing is: they are still updating!

For me, there is definitely a difference between the two updates. In terms of sound, there is now more 'center-to-center'.
It is not like you are being shaken off your seat by very heavy bass. But for a car sound system, it is very decent. I am more satisfied now.

Everyone, dissatisfied with their sound should check, if the subwoofer actually works. There are reports of non-working subwoofers. This issue could be solved by resetting the car. I don't know, what resetting means and how it works. If there's no sound from the sub, I'd call my agent to fix it. Fortunately mine works.

On April 15, my Cyberster is going in for its first service; the car will be exactly one year old then.

Good to know that a new software version has been released in the meantime. I will insist that this be installed in my car. The result will follow later. Happy Easter

if they fix the speaker issue with R37 I will take to dealer. Hope they do beacuse is horrible now

I don't have any speaker issues with R34. I saw reports of users without a working sub who wrote that this was due to an unfinished install, and was fixed with a restore to factory settings. Don't know if this is your problem. If so, any update might fix it.
