Anybody know for certain what the DC-DC converter is rated on the ZS EV (2019)? Or has anyone used an inverter running off the 12v and can say what they used?

I mean clamping the 12V with the HV battery switched on. I wonder how much I can drain it while it charges using something like this:

Amazon product ASIN B0816LDLG2
Not something I would like to try as I have no idea of the consequences to the system.

I do have a 100w solar panel on my shed roof which charges a 110ah leisure battery. I use this for 12v lights, usb charging etc. I also have a 1000w (2000w peak) pure sine wave inverter connected directly to the battery that I use for charging power tool batteries and running lower powered electric tools, e.g. a 400w handheld mini circular saw.
The battery copes fine with this but is not connected to a sophisticated piece of machinery like an EV.

I believe the car has to be in running mode to charge the 12v battery. I would suggest you could attach your load to the battery and see how quickly it discharges, it is unlikely to damage anything as the dc-dc charging system will be protected against overload. Having said all that, the car is an expensive bit of kit to put at risk!
