Decipher Build Date from VIN Number (MG4)

Trying to decipher my MG4 Trophy VIN Number to find out what is the exact build date but Google is not helping much.

Any ideas guys?

My number is: LSJWH4090PN106524

Build date? Look in the plastic wallet in the glove box ... there should be a certificate of conformity in there, and that gives the exact build date.

I didn't have that

I got the plastic transparent wallet, but only vin numbers and engine nubmers in it.

NO certificates

Any other way to find the build date?

If your car is leased or Motability then I could maybe understand that. But I thought that every car should come with a CoC from the factory, just that not every customer would receive it ... but cash/PCP customers should.

Mine was a cash sale , no C of C , was taken out of the car before I collected. I don't think it is something that the dealer has to give you?

The VIN only contains the Model Year, not the year of manufacture

What year do you think it was manufactured? It's either the P or N in "PN" part of the VIN before the 6 digit serial number I think.

There is a date stamp on the underside of the phone shelf mat, which should give you some idea.

There's also one under the rear parcel shelf. But they only show the date of that parts manufacture although as they probably use the JIT system it'll be close to the cars manufactured date.
