Different rear indicators on same MG HS PHEV

Hey everyone,
I’ve got a 73-plate MG HS PHEV (Trophy), I bought this one as i thought it was the top of the range and I noticed another 23-plate Same Model that had long, sequential-style rear indicators, while mine just has a small blinking strip.
Does anyone know if the rear lights between the Trophy and Exclusive are swapable, or if they’re wired differently?

Is the 73 plate the face lift version and the 23 plate the original MK1 version (I have 21 plate which has the long strip indicator) as the face lift version has different lamps, bumpers, wheels and so on. Interior is pretty similar but with an updated infotainment system/screen. If so I would have thought not interchangeable....or if they were you'd have to replace both sections of rear lamp which will be somewhat expensive.

Ah, that makes sense now — thanks mate. Yeah, mine’s the 73-plate facelift Trophy, and the one I saw must’ve been the pre-facelift (MK1) with the longer rear lights. Didn’t realise the facelift version had completely different lamp units.
Bit of a shame though, those sequential indicators looked really nice! Sounds like swapping them wouldn’t be worth the hassle or cost
