Disable GPS tracking / reporting

I would like to not be tracked. Is there a way to turn GPS tracking off, or the reporting to the I-smart phone app off?

I doubt anybody at MG is actively tracking you.

But you could unbind the car and delete the app from your phone. In terms of turning the gps off in the car itself you would probably have to find the gps unit and unplug some wires.

Not sure how this would affect the functionality of the car as it is suspected the car uses gps (among other things) to keep track of your speed.

Navigation would obviously be gone then.
You could resort to navigation on phone, but then you are being tracked again
