Door chime sound disappeared

You could try a head unit reset , hold home button until it restarts. Or a factory reset .

By the way the speaker for the chimes and I assume reversing proximity warnings is separate to the media speakers. It's under the steering wheel to the right a bit, probably on a separate fuse just inc case a restart doesn't fix it and you want to check the fuse too (fuses in the handbook).

Ok thank you. It does seem mine has developed a fault, not sure its worth going back to the dealers with so will probably just wait until it's serviced in 11 months time.

I don't have a door chime and I never have. Maybe it's a special annoyance reserved for Trophy owners.
