Driving through France to Provence

We are planning an EV adventure for August. Dieppe to Orgon in Provence.

Looking for hints and tips if anyone has experience of charging, toll roads or not toll roads, any nice places to overnight.

Planning a 3 day trip on way down.

This is one thing I will be getting:

Thanks in advance.
Simply use Tesla super chargers all the way down. No problem.

Plenty are open in France. Have a look on the app and you will see that you can use them for most of the journey.

Yep south of Lyon we used Tesla all very easy. Once back up to Lyon and Dijon the number of stations open to us reduced even though we stayed in two hotels with Tesla stations in the car parks but couldn't use them.
We then used Fast Neds and avoided Total as they charge by the minute.

We stayed in a few lodge camp sites on way back and charged off a 2 pin socket.

If I did this again I would stay in lodges not hotels as always guaranteed a full charge in morning which makes all the difference.

So just had the toll road bill through from Emovis and here is a summary that might give people a rough idea of the cost - so this was a trip from Dieppe to Avignon/Orgon and we only used tolls part of the way:

Prices in Euro's

Orleans to Moulins 1/2 the way - 6.60
Moulins to Orgon part of the way - 25.60
Orgon to Avignon and back - 4.10
Orgon to Lyon - 23.30
Lyon to Dijon - 15.30
Dijon to Paris - 19.90

91 Euro in total.

Miles driven approx 2500 miles
Cost us £220 to charge
