Ecotricity charger ???

Has anyone managed to use them? Tried at the service station (Keele on M6) the other day but said I needed to download an App, couldn't find one?! Are these the ones that Gridserve has mainly taken over?

Gridserve do own ecotricity yes and are replacing all the old chargers with new one that also have cardless payment.
Meantime try to find another charger that's close enough for you.

Used one beginning of December, took ages and many attempts to get the app to work only to find it only charged at 7 kw as the fast charging didn't work. Last of the old type chargers, avoid if you can and better Instavolt chargers at Higher lands garage.

7kW is fast charging.

All Welcome Break service stations are stuck on the old Ecotricity chargers. You need their app or an RFID card. Don't bother as they'll be gone soon changed to Gridserve.
