Ecotricity Rapids charging 2 cars at once ?

Does anyone know if the Ecotricity chargers at the services are able to charge two cars at the same time from one charger? Thanks in advance.

Don't think so.

I used the Gridserve rapid at the Rheged Centre last week and CCS pump1 was active but pump 2 was disabled.

They will allow you to connect but my experience is it says something like charging will start when power is available

I’m yet to witness it but I’m led to believe grid serve chargers are capable of simultaneous dual-DC-charging i.e. if a charger has both a CHAdeMO and CCS connector, two vehicles can plug in to these connectors at the same time, and both will charge at the same time. This is from their website

I was on the phone with them trying to get a charge recently and they told me they can't currently use two connectors per unit at once but it's coming in the future.
