I've put together a spreadsheet to try and compare tariffs with your actual annual usage. I'm no expert on spreadsheets and it's been a bit of trial and error, but it seems to work. Give it a try and let me know.

Instructions:

The orange bar at the top is for your current provider, which will be compared with other providers you enter.

Column 1 is for the Tariff name. Enter the standing charge, off peak, and peak prices as decimals (ie; 55 pence is 0.55, 9 pence is 0.09, etc). Enter the number of hours peak and off peak providers offer and the spreadsheet will work out any difference from your current usage.
