I've put together a spreadsheet to try and compare tariffs with your actual annual usage. I'm no expert on spreadsheets and it's been a bit of trial and error, but it seems to work. Give it a try and let me know.

Instructions:

The orange bar at the top is for your current provider, which will be compared with other providers you enter.

Column 1 is for the Tariff name. Enter the standing charge, off peak, and peak prices as decimals (ie; 55 pence is 0.55, 9 pence is 0.09, etc). Enter the number of hours peak and off peak providers offer and the spreadsheet will work out any difference from your current usage.

You are far from the first to do this but it is good to have choices and thanks for sharing, it also shows others how they can create their own, if they wish.
