There's a pop off cover on the right hand side of the engine bay cover. Take that off and you can see the battery,how do you get to the 12 volt battery when its covered by the engine bay cover

yeah definitely a good ideaOoo, you've just reminded me to pop a 10mm spanner in the boot for that "just in case, reboot the system" time.
So the emergency pull cord for the charging release is under the plastic cover. How do I remove the cover? In what position should the screws be?if you needed to get to the 12volt battery
Thanks for the reply. Do the screws need to be in a certain position?They unscrew (come upwards) and allow you to pop the plastic rivets out, then the cover can be pulled off the velcro. Everyone suggests a 10mm spanner. No one mentions a flat headed screwdriver for the engine bay cover.
