EU MG4 (all variants) - Service campaign SC077 is out, improving lane assist performance

Siteguru, when I first disable sound AND next also LKA and then activate TJA, there is no beep at all.
Also, when setup this way the car does not steer back when I go back one lane with the indicator on.

What did you do to get the beep? Deliberately steer across the lane marker?
In my case LKA was still active but the LKA Alert sound toggle was off. All I did was to let TJA do the steering (occasionally putting weight on the wheel to stop the Hold The Wheel notice coming up) and drive ... TJA itself steered towards the lane line - and then showed that line in red on the screen and gave the alert beep. 🤷‍♂️

So after having the update since my last Service I had a few concerning occurrences that I need to talk about and check if you have experienced the same. I'm not a native speaker (we drive on the right side) so please pardon me if my description may be not plausible for all of you.

So on my way back home from work I had three times a strange behaviour. Emergency LKA was active, but TJA was not active but in standby. Two lanes merged into one, I was on the right lane. This part of the road is going a bit uphill and I accelerated a bit more than usual.

The Car beeped, the driver display marked the right lane marker in blue (blue not red!) and wanted to steer to this side. But I was really near to this side and car kept going.. I had to steer against it. Not sure what had happend if I had let got, I could imagine that I may have crashed to the side of the road.

Normally the ELKA marks the lane markers in red when I'm too near and tries to steer away. TJA was not active and I thought the blue markers (both sides) are for TJA only.

I imagine that car has an issue with merging of the lanes on this particular part it merges from left to right.

This happend all times on the same road part, but could not be directly reproduced.

Did something like that happen to you as well?
I do like the change of the Sc077, but not sure about this quirk..

I have had similar experiences before the update, but not so much since the SC077 update.

The system can react unpredictably when there are several lanes that merge together.

In general the responses from the car have been much less violent since the update, which is very welcome.

Blue means intervention when LKA is active (LDA or ELK). The manual warns for road situations where markers may become complex or unclear. It tells you to disable LKA ASAP for your own safety. Which isn't easy if you need your hands at the wheel (one of my major complaints : no lka button on /near the wheel).

Hmm, prior the SC077 update this did not happen. Yeah i had some interventions on other roud conditions, but never on this part of the road. So I will turn of LKA on my way back Home and should not have an issue..

Don't fully disable it. Try Alert mode. It will never pull, but will warn you. Also, I disabled sound so if anything should gapoen causingbm an alert, only the wheel vibrates.
