Any idea at what speed FKA kicks in? I have it set as alarm and brake. At moderate speed (10-15mph) it will act as I approach another car. In slow traffic, approaching a junction for instance, it appears to do nothing. I wondered if it eoild prevent me bumping into the car in front. I'm wary of speeding up to see what happens.

Are you talking about AEB (automatic emergency braking), sometimes called FCA (front collision avoidance)?

It can definitely activate at low to medium speeds, I have had warnings at a range from 5 to 40mph. Not sure if there is a speed above/below which it disengages.

If you want to test bump avoidance, maybe something large and sort, like a suspended duvet, might be a way to test? At your own risk, usual disclaimers etc...!
