Has anyone had a front bumper repaired replaced for a pheasant incident? How much did it cost or did you go via insurance?

Ouch!, that's a new bumper job, or a used one off Ebay.

Not a very, Pheasant experience.
Definitely a new bumper, job. As Clive said, a second hand one, would probably be best. And if you lucky enough, to drop on the same colour. That would be a nice bonus.

Condolences to you (and the pheasant).

Can you get it replaced under comprehensive insurance as an 'act of God' ? I've not checked our policy for such things. If so, what is your excess and could it impact future quotes?

MG4 rear bumper replacement at a body shop wasn't cheap (£1200 but that was to replace brackets as well).

Don't know how much it cost for the front one as it was done on the other party's insurance.

I'd be tempted to get some white gaffer tape and stick it over both sides of the hole as a temporary fix. And if that works out you could leave it like that for a while.
