Front Fog Lights for Standard - Cables Are There?

So.. a quick one. I was wondering if the standard version (without spoiler, rear speakers, long tailights...)

It also lacks fog lights. And dealership says I may void warranty if I install these. And it sounds ridiculous... But anyways.

Any standard model here installed these?

And how do you remove this part to replace them?

Does it have cables in there to connect plug & play style or they are not present - similar to rear speakers being gone and no cables there either?

I see behind them 2 screws but don't know how to access it - but if there's no cable.. I wouldnt do any custom connection :/

My car is the SE, same car as yours as far as I know, and it has fog lights. They're awkward to turn on, but they certainly exist. I find it hard to believe they make a version without.

Mine didnt come with them... Thought it was normal for standard long range like mine...

I'm not so sure on this, I dont think my SE has front fog lights ? (having said that, since passing my test in 1988, I've never tried to switch them on front or back)

When you see the car from the front... There's vertical white in that place - you have them.

If its black then there's no fog lights. :/

So.. if it didnt come with fog lights - does it have a plug in there to connect if we get a pair?

Those are not fog lights.

Those are LED indicators and only fitted to the higher trim models.

The SE has indicators in the light cluster, filament bulbs not led.

SE has one rear foglight (centre low rear bumber) no front fog lights

None of the MG4s have front fogs AFAIK.

That when I turned on the fog lights there were front ones as well. Maybe the standard dipped headlights are OK in fog in a way my old Golf's weren't.

They could be as they throw out a flat beam so the fog is illuminated from underneath instead of a scattered beam of traditional headlights which meant some of it was reflected back at eye level.

As per @Ian Key implies ... I think putting on the fog light also turned on the dipped front lights?

Could be. Anyway, WHEN I eventually managed to turn the damn fog light(s) on, and that's the real issue, it was fine.
