Front & rear lights on when starting remote app HVAC???

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere (I promise I did try and search) - Got my lease Xpower yesterday and following initial drive stopped at a supermarket. Decided to put the HVAC on 5 mins before going thru the till and when I got outside, the car was lit up and I nervously thought I'd left it unlocked, but tested again when I got home and when putting the HVAC on via the app, it turned the front/rear lights on and left them on.

Happy with the car so far, have cautiously read the forums and seen that there are inevitably teething problems, but I'll be keeping positive and not looking for issues as there are lots of positives about the MG4 range and I know I made the right decision for my requirements and budget. Thanks

I found this "feature" extremely useful when arriving home from my holiday to a dark, rainy airport car park (I'd used "Meet & Greet", which means they move the car after you park it).
A warm, easily locatable car was just what I needed!

Same on my car. It surprised me a bit as I wasn't expecting it. It's OK when at home I suppose but when parked outside a friends place I could imagine people knocking on the door and saying "you've left your lights on".

It would be nice to have the choice whether the lights came on or not, but given the car can power them for days on end, it doesn't really matter.
