Has anyone (had satellite navigation badly direct)

On my 25 MG4 Trophy LR I have the frozen map issue. It starts OK but in a few moments it sticks. I read that it was using some "Dead Reckoning mode" if GPS signal is intermittent and turning this off helps. How do you do this?

As it stands it's unusable and I'm relying on Android Auto and good old Waze. Which is disappointing.

Also anyone use music files on a USB stick? The MG recognises only five files on the stick which has 150 plus on it. My previous Vauxhall had no such problems. Is there a setting for this too?

I usually have the full nav screen showing so when it freezes I go to the home page and then go back and it unfreezes.

There are a number of posts about the music issue. Search for a thread titled 'USB' from 2023. The MG does not support all audio codings so check the manual.
