Heater ticking

Anyone else's heater make a ticking noise?

It only happens when the heater kicks in (first red blob) and it ticks constantly. It's not loud but it's annoying.

Wanted to know if mine is faulty or not.

Never mentioned it to the dealer, usually the music drowns it out.

ZE EV 2022 heater ticking noise also present in our car. Definitely not the fan as the frequency of the tick doesn't change with fan speed change. Car went into dealer yesterday and they tested against a brand new MG which had the same faint tick. Said it was "as designed!". Can only assume its part of the heating element control, some kind of capacitor or something. Annoying but I guess its a budget car!

Noticed this not long after we got ours, put it into dealer and the reply was 'its a characteristic of the car' , in other words we can't and don't intend to fix it. My solution, turn the volume up on music
