Heating Screen Disappearing & Apple CarPlay Connectivity Problem

Bought my MG a week ago but struggling with adjusting the heating on the infotainment system as the screen disappears after 3 seconds ( before i set it to what i wanted ) ...
I also have a problem with AppleCarPlay although i tried many different cables I connects and disconnects when it wants to.
Does anyone have same problems ? If so have you found any solutions ?
I am a novice MG driver so I d appreciate your help

Think you misunderstood me , i am able to get into the menus but once the AC Screen is on in front of me it doesn't stay more than 3 seconds - it just disappears very quickly even before while pressing buttons

I’ve seen the screen disappearing in 3 seconds, but I think it depends where you are accessing the menu from, that’s why I suggested trying the pull down menu.

This person also accesses the AC from his steering wheel and voice command. If the screen is disappearing within 3 seconds no matter where you are accessing the menu from, then there is a problem.

In my Trophy, if I press the fan on/off button below the screen then the heating controls appear on screen for about 3 seconds, as you are experiencing. If I pull down from the top centre of the screen as mentioned above by @FiferMG4 in method 3, then the heating control screen remains open until I close it by swiping up.

I’ve found that If you click at the top of the screen where the temp and fan info is etc the menu will stay up for as long as you like, it’s only disappears after a few seconds if you try accessing via the physical button, annoying I know but still

The physical AC button is to switch it on or off... not to change the settings. To change settings you swipe from the top middle of the screen.

You can set the right star button as a shortcut to control heating although it is a cut down version of those controls.

Yes I tried this method and it worked thanks very much for this guys , really appreciated.

i guess i ll have to try different types of cables to sort the apple carplay issue
