High revs

Hi all, I have just joined the forum to let you know of my experience with high revs. I own a mgzs hybrid + trophy model. I have had it since Dec 2024 with no issues untill 2 weeks ago. Was travelling at 54mph with ACC, on normal terrain when suddenly the revs shot up to above 5000rpm and the speed dropped right off. This lasted for approx 40 seconds The same happened this week same speed and terrain revs up to 4000rpm and speed dropped. Took car into mg chesterfield today and they applied an update to the ECU don't know number. For info mpg over the 29miles going was 61.8 coming bake 68.2 will let you know I get on

Exactly the same as you PCO. Bought my car Dec24 I have had occasional high revs although not as high as you had. It would be interesting to see if the update works.
