Well thank you for your gracious comments, I can be charming and am generally helpful as evidenced over nearly 4 years on this forum. I have no desire to join the Tesla forums though, I find the car's interiors too minimalistic for me although I do admire the technology and efficiency of Teslas.You should join the Tesla groups, they are full of charming helpful people like you.
FYI my vehicle has just been purchased and didn't come with any manuals.
Here is the manual for the non-long range Pre-facelift that I downloaded some while ago. You can tell from page 257 as it's the 52kWh pack. It still doesn't have instructions for removing the 12v.interesting, there is no instruction in the manual I have for battery removal, and the manual for MG5 (not long range) is not in the wonderful list provided above
