How old is the infotainment processor ?

I noticed on the infotainment screen that you can't just tap to select things, you have to press and hold, only for about a second, but it makes it unsafe if you have to select anything whilst driving. FWIW the screen is clean.
I was wondering this morning, as the system booted up and declared it was the 1st of January 2019, whether the actual hardware is from 2019, in other words 5 years old. I have had Android tablets in the past that slow down as they get older, is this the case with the car I wonder ?

I can't find the actual date, but that's probably pretty close.
The system is based on the Mediatek MT2712

We are due a new bigger infotainment screen system in the refresh later this year, it may have a speedier processor.
