How to maximise the GPS screen?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I did search for it before posting.

On the in-car entertainment screen, how do you maximise it to just the GPS display on Android Play? Mine always starts with Spotify or music on the left hand side, about 1/3 of the screen, but I've accidentally managed to maximise it a few times so I know it's possible, it just doesn't stay like that!

If you click the Maps /Waze /whatever icon on the RH side of the screen it should maximise the image for you.
That's on an SE I don't know if it's the same on a Trophy

I have an SE but that doesn't work for me....will look again!

As per @NickHeynes ... tap the maps screen so it becomes the main (right hand) part of the screen, then click on the Maps icon again and it should become full screen. (This was introduced in the Coolwalk update to Android Auto - make sure your AA is up to date).

Now if they'd only update the app so we can remotely heat the car when it's frozen outside, my life would be complete. ;-)
