HS Trophy PHEV Slow gear change x2

Has anyone with a face lift phev trophy noticed the additional pause MG have introduced? it happens at 50 mph and seems to be a petrol gear box change this is followed up with the electric motor change at 55, or is it just mine ? i know they have changed the way it all works at it uses electric only a lot more than the prev one

hopefully there will be a fix .........?

just to be clear its an additional pause at 50 mph slight acceleration then another pause at 55 mph (this ine is the usual prefacelift one)

It's a different quirk to the og version as I have one of them 2 it's 2 distinct changes within 1 second of each other

Yes also you can get one at 40mph and a slow change from EV to ICE

I believe the electric motor has two gears and it is this changing. If you look at the power gauge it goes down at the same time there is a pause.
Anyone confirm my thoughts?

It has 4 gears in EV and 6 in ICE it has some slow charging at certain speed and in EV you will find a power drop at 40mph if you are pushing it best to be easy on the acceleration.

Thanks for your update; does that mean in EV mode you use four of the six ICE gears or are they separate gears?
