Impending delivery

I do around 14 miles each way to work, 50% on 'A' roads and 50% on the motorway, average on the 'A' roads is between 35 and 45mph, on the motorway between 60 and 85 (yes I know) depending on the traffic.

What sort of energy consumption should I be expecting? is 3kw/hr expected or optimistic?

Good luck with the delivery in September. Its a great car for the money and well worth it over a Trophy if you are/were in anyway a petrolhead IMHO. It still puts a grin on my face after 22 months of ownership 🤣

I reckon you'll find a big difference in efficiency between a steady 60 and a steady 85 (on the Autobahn of course 😉😁) so its really up to you !! Easily more than 3mls/kw at 60 but less than 3mls/kwh at 85 IMHO (from trips in Gemany of course). Needless to say I struggle to get more than 3mls/kw on longer motorway trips 😂😊

Had my XPower for around 18 months now and the best and worst efficiency between charges have been 3.6 and 2.2 miles/kWh. Best and worst GOM ranges have been 238 and 153 miles.

On a short trip under "best" conditions you might see an indicated 5 miles/kWh, drive it like you stole it and you will be lucky to see 2 miles/kWh

Best I've seen driving around Milton Keynes with our "roundabout every half mile" nonsense is around 3.4 or so. At the moment, with a little spirited driving, it's usually around 2.6 but in the colder months, when I bought it, I was struggling to get above 2.3 even being gentle with the thing. I didn't buy it for a hugely impressive range though...

Not surprised they are no longer supplying cables. Never used my granny charger and only used my Type 2 cable once just to test it out. That's in 2.5 years of ownership.

Now, I am sure they are very useful for some people but there must be a lot who just home charge (tethered) and Fast charge en-route.

Agree, it's whatever suits. Still think they should supply a Granny Charger as standard. At least then you can always charge your car. Until you get yourself sorted. And decide what's best for you. A
Granny Charger might well be all you need. As in my case. Still, Strikes of penny pinching to me. Also think if you negotiated, you would get at least one, if not both cables, to seal the deal. They ain't gonna lose Thousands, for the sake of a few Hundred quid. But obviously do it before you sign. 🙂👍

Well after much much much hassle and delays from my company signing the finance agreement and the leasing company hiking the price because of the delays I had a call yesterday to arrange delivery.

So unless anything changes, and with all the crap that's gone on and taking over seven months to sort I should take delivery on Monday 1st December :D

What's the betting it will have all the latest updates and SC077 installed ?
