Infotainment problems

Hi I've had my car a couple of weeks and there seems to be issues with the infotainment system. Sometimes sat nav works, more usually not... often says a post code doesn't exist.. it's a lottery if the voice navigation works, or I get a visual map, continuous loss of DAB radio, again lottery getting the system to make phone calls. S warning light and continuous beeping came on yesterday ... Right hand side of dashboard....but as of yet I have to see what the icon means. Trawling through the online manual Anyone else had similar problems?

Are you putting space between postcode digits such CF44 space 8UD the sat nav settings has a list of warnings which you can select or turn off.

Mine is exactly the same, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Also speed cameras, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't on the same roads.

Mine too - DAB goes off, speed signs incorrect, bleeping, nav system is unreliable, cannot get my contacts to show up when using bluetooth, cable on Apple CarPlay doesn't always work, I am at the point of asking for my money back as I travel a lot alone and cannot rely on the car's systems.

I have also noticed that on the screen where it shows the speed limit for that road, that sometimes it shows 35mph, and on some roads has even shown as 90mph.

Before you ask, yes I have checked and double checked, it is set on mph, and not kmph

I have noticed that the camera seems to work very reliable, much better tahn the Kia I had before, the times it relies for speed info on the map (or mbetter the info saved for the road there), reliability is much less given. E.g. in Austria, as soon as I enter a motorway (Autobahn), it will show 130km/h until it recognizes the first speed sign (which is usually within seconds at the end of an onramp). Whilst 130 is indeed our general speed limit on an Autobahn, certainly not meant for the onramp

That said, Google Maps speed limits in Austria are also laughably bad - and a lot worse than MGs inbuilt system - like almost always off by quite a margin, in both directions, so probably the general database for "offline" speed limits is an issue with source material.
