Hi All,

I just recently got my new SE and I noticed some damage on the bottom of my infotainment screen. It is as if a screen protector is starting to come off. Does anyone have a similar issue? Is there actually a screen protector on it and I just didn’t notice it? Thanks!

Attaching a picture of the screen.

They don't come with a screen protector as far as I know, unless you have some protection film on it - if you do it should be simple to peel off.

It is hard to tell from the picture but if there's no film I would definitely want that screen replaced.

Mine came with a protective film on it. I left it on for a while before removing it. I later installed a matt screen protector.

I really can't remember if mine came with a protective film - it might have. It does though now have a matte screen protector - that really helps with reducing glare. :)

I do recall another thread here where someone said their screen seemed to be delaminating ... maybe this is a similar issue?

I agree, the photo does not look a protective film but damage to screen. I looks like someone has been using a screwdriver or similar to lever the buttons out.

Looks like a screen protector to me as the black trim isn't shiny enough. If it's not a screen protector you have some nasty scratches next to the VLC player logo too.

If this car is brand new, the white might just be gunk on that button, for some reason this white manky residue does seem to get in to new cars.
