I've signed up with LV= through Confused so I'll make use of their reward scheme in the form of a £20 Halfords voucher.
Decided that for the first year of ownership at least, having flat battery protection was worth paying a little extra for.
Having said that, I haven't really investigated whether MG Recovery covers you for a flat battery. Perhaps someone could advise?

I hope that I never have to use the EV benefits.

I went with LV in the end. Not the cheapest but I did not want to use Hastings.

I'm currently with LV (transferred from my trade-in, but up for renewal next month). I'm intrigued with your comment about Hastings, I did a search and they were the cheapest (£178 vs. £205 for LV), but... Are the crap, then?
