Are you ticking the box for Don't Remind Me Again before you hit Cancel?

I clicked cancel the first time. I was just wondering why it would show up at all. If i am not wrong it is supposed to be used in the winter for preheating the battery. Am i wrong?

Happened to me a few weeks ago, on one of the few hot days we have had! I cancelled and not had since, just put it down as a temporary glitch.

It happens about once a month here. Ticking the box makes no difference. Just another minor temperature related bug to ignore ?.

Hottest day of the year so far here I think. As I was putting the shopping bags in the boot I saw something was displayed on the infotainment screen. Got into the car, and guess what. I've told it not to show me this again, we'll see how long that lasts for.

Has anyone noticed that the intelligent battery heating button has now disappeared from the energy consumption window (R38)?
Now confused how you switch it on and off...
Like Siteguru , no I did not notice, not that I've ever used it.
Is it ( was it ever ) on the app?
Is it , that intelligent it does not need human intervention?
Will it , re-appear if the temperature / battery percentage drop below a certain level?
Was it , linked to the old re-gen/ power graphics which have now changed giving less information than before.
S,pose we could ask MG ????🤷‍♂️

I never used it either.
My only concern was that sometimes it states that the temp is low (even when it isn't) and asks if you want to turn on the heater.
If you accidentally say yes how do you turn it off again?

I accidently said yes to the question a few months ago, after ticking don't remind me again. Forgot completely about it but it has not appeared to affected the car's performance.

However, when investigating the battery capacity calculation based on the consumption figures (another thread) I saw that the intelligent heating was on. I switched it off but it kept defaulting to on when I looked after power up. Eventually the system accepted that I wanted it off and I now am getting the question again.

In my car, IBH is under the Cog symbol on the Charging screen. (I remembered this thread whilst in the car today so I took a look). :)
Thanks.
Just checked the car and indeed it's been moved under that cog.
My setting was intelligent heating ON, so I've now turned it off.
Who knows if it's been costing me some juice...
