Is anyone else's numberplate squint?

To be fair though, most if not all cops, wouldn't even notice the suppliers name, post code and BS mark, weren't there.
As long as it had correct font and spaced correctly. I'm presuming the Green strip, isn't a legal requirement? 🙂👍

No it isn't, it just identifies the car as an EV, but it's not a legal requirement.
There was talk that in the future in areas with charging zones it would be used to identify EVs if they were fee free or reduced fee, but thinking about that the reg would do that. Bloody next storm is blowing up, it’s pouring so I’m stuck in the house so too much time to think. 🤔

You could do the clock with hands trick, and hang it so it's obviously out of wack, nothing more frustrating than trying hang a clock that everyone thinks is now correct, only to take it down a few mths later to change the time or battery ....

“Green stripes on UK number plates identify zero-emission vehicles (electric cars, vans, taxis, motorcycles). Introduced in December 2020, this "green flash" is intended to increase awareness of EVs, promote greener transportation, and allow local authorities to easily identify cars eligible for perks like free parking, lower fees, or zero-emission zone access”

There you go.

Somebody's been Googling. ;)

Plod doesn't seem to bother about ******** who have removed the space in their number plates and used a smaller font size, so not much chance of them noticing anything else 😁

I would agree, until something goes wrong. I hope somebody with an illegal plate is not involved in somebody else's accident.
I T-boned a car that tried to cross a dual carriageway in front of a lorry, not realising that I was overtaking the lorry in the second lane. I didn't see the car until it appeared across my lane and I pushed it about 20m sideways. The police calculated I was doing 60mph, so not speeding.
The offending Sierrra was written off but my car was re-shelled. The repair garage reckoned Plod spent 90 minutes going over my car in their workshop, looking to find fault, and it was four months before I was absolved from any blame. It's a good job the car was 100% legal.

Over this side, it's the insurance assessor that looks for anything that can get the insurance company out of the claim, they must get a bonus or something because they really work hard at trying to find anything they can us against you ....
